I am a corporal in the Canadian Army, where I do administrative work.
What I love most about my job is that I get to help people. I help them sort out pay issues, computer problems, and anything else that is administrative. I love it because ever since I was a child I wanted to help people in some way.
On the professional front, my biggest accomplishment is how I managed to reorganize our nominal roll so that it was more efficient and better organized. Doing this showed me that I am way more capable of organizing than I had given myself credit for, which is slowly making its way into other areas of my life.
On the personal front, my biggest accomplishment would be that I was able to recognize the signs that my mental health was suffering sooner, and asked for help. It was a huge step for me to finally commit to real changes in order to get healthy again. It still is and always will be a daily battle.
I am looking to inspire others that suffer from mental illness. To show you that you can make a difference, that you can get better. And that you are not alone in this battle. If you would like to collaborate you can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
